Abstract:
This indoor unit for an air conditioner is provided with: an indoor heat exchanger having refrigerant piping through which a refrigerant flows; a temperature sensor provided to the refrigerant piping; a fan for blowing air toward the indoor heat exchanger; and a blocking plate provided between the temperature sensor and the fan and blocking the flow of air blown from the fan toward the temperature sensor. The blocking plate is provided with a plate-shaped body section having a first side edge section and a second side edge section which is a side edge section on the side opposite the first side edge section. The first side edge section has formed therein a V-shaped cutout recessed toward the second side edge section. The body section is provided with a clamp located between the cutout in the first edge section and the second edge section and affixing wiring connected to the temperature sensor.
