Abstract:
To date, it has been impossible to make the rotational speed of an induction motor exceed a synchronous rotational speed without using power module devices such as an inverter. In the present invention, a full-wave rectifier circuit (10) performs full-wave rectification of electric power input from an AC power source (1), a DC offset circuit (20) offsets, using a predetermined DC component, the voltage value subjected to full-wave rectification by the full-wave rectifier circuit (10) so as to double the frequency of output voltage, and an induction motor (30) is operated on the basis of the frequency of the output voltage of the DC offset circuit (20).
