Abstract:
An induction heating and drying apparatus (1) is provided with: an induction heating coil (2), which performs induction heating from the outer side of an outer plate (51) of a vehicle (5), and dries the surface of the outer plate (51); and a sheet-like magnetic shielding sheet (3), which has characteristics of blocking magnetism. The magnetic shielding sheet (3) has: at intermediate outer plate portions (53), each of which is a part of the outer plate (51) of the vehicle (5), and is positioned between window portions (54), shielding sheets (3A, 3B) that are respectively disposed between the intermediate outer plate portions (53) and the induction heating coil (2); and at general portions (52) of the entire outer plate (51), said general portions being other than the intermediate outer plate portions (53), a reflecting sheet (3C) that is disposed on the outer side of the induction heating coil (2).
