Abstract:
An induction heating type cooktop according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: an upper plate unit on which an object to be heated is placed; an intermediate heating body installed on the upper plate unit; a first working coil and a second working coil generating a magnetic field passing through at least one of the object to be heated and the intermediate heating body; and an inverter unit controlling a first direction of a first current flowing in the first working coil and a second direction of a second current flowing in the second working coil, wherein depending on the type of the object to be heated, the area of the loop formed by the current induced in the intermediate heating body may be changed.
