Abstract:
To provide a squirrel-cage induction motor with high reliability and small loss, an induction motor according to the present invention incudes a rotor 1 having conductor bars 12 contained in slots 13 of a solid iron core 11. The slots 13 are open slots and have a width that gradually and linearly tapers from the outer periphery side toward the inside of the rotor 1.
