Abstract:
Provided are an inductor and a bobbin thereof for which inductance precision and superimposing characteristics are improved, and the steps for assembly is low. An inductor (1) is provided with a core (2) that forms a magnetic path (11), a bobbin (3) attached to the core (2), and a coil (4) wound on the core (2) with the bobbin (3) interposed therebetween. In the inductor (1), a magnetic gap is provided midway along the magnetic path (11). The bobbin (3) has a spacer (9) that configures the magnetic gap. The bobbin (3) can be cylindrical, or can also have the coil (4) wound on the outer circumference surface of the bobbin (3), with the spacer (9) provided further radially inward than the coil (4), on the inner circumference surface of the bobbin (3).
