Abstract:
Provided is an industrial hybrid engine which is, through further innovation, more streamlined and is configured to be able to support with sufficient strength a large and heavy electric motor on an engine body while belt-driving the motor without slipping. This industrial hybrid engine is provided with an endless rotation band 9 wound around a drive pulley 6a of a crankshaft 6 and a motor pulley 8a of a electric motor 8 that is for motive power. The electric motor 8 is mounted to an engine case k and held in place with one support bracket 22. The support bracket 22 has: first and second support parts 23, 24 for mounting the electric motor 8; and a mounting part 25 which is positioned between the first and second support parts 23, 24 to mount the motor to the engine case k.
