Abstract:
Infant rearing instrument with a seat, e.g., a baby carriage which has a seat cushion (2), a seat back (3) and a seat (1) preventing the dislocation of infant's hip joints. The seat cushion (2) is disposed in a space (8) allowing the crotch width (W) to be formed of a size (Wf) that has no obstacle placed so as to press outward at a predetermined value both the knees of an infant held sitting, to prevent the dislocation of the infant's hip joints. The seat (1) has a pair of protrusions (10) on the seat cushion (2) for positioning the infant's hips laterally. Further, a projection (11) is formed on the front portion of the cushion (2) between the infant's legs to positively retain the infant's crotch width (W).
