An information browsing program arranges information whose storage position is uniquely defined in a virtual space. The information browsing program ascertains the position specified by a user in the virtual space. The information browsing program ascertains the arrangement position in an area having a virtual spread with respect to the specified position and fetches information corresponding to the arrangement position. Accordingly, a user can easily read information whose storage position is uniquely specified such as a web site in the Internet, a local folder, and a local file without performing a complicated, troublesome input operation for specifying the storage position. Moreover, browsing not searching for particular information can also be easily realized.
