Abstract:
Provided is a display device having input means displaying a key map at a position
which can be easily pressed. The display device includes: a touch panel (3) arranged
to correspond to a display unit (2) and having light transmittance; an initial
pressing detection unit (7) for detecting that the touch panel (3) is firstly
touched; a key map storage unit (5) containing key arrangement of the input keys;
a key map spreading unit (6) for reading out a key map from the key map storage unit
(5) upon detection of the first touch by the initial pressing detection unit (7),
outputting the read-out key map on the display unit (2) so that the contact position
of the initial touch on the touch panel (3) corresponds to the reference position
of the key map, and outputting the position and the value of each input key of the
read-out key map; and a connection unit (8) for outputting an input key value corresponding
to the contact position on the touch panel (3) from the key map spread unit (6) according
to the contact position on the touch panel (3).
