Abstract:
This information display control method is for displaying, in a display region, an image of a virtual object for indicating the position (Vo) of an object, the method involving: determining the size (JS) of the virtual object on the basis of the object position (Vo); disposing the virtual object, of which the size has been determined, at the object position; generating an image of the virtual object by perspectively projecting said virtual object onto a virtual region using the viewpoint of a user as a reference point; generating a display image of the virtual object by transforming the image of the virtual object by using a conversion table that indicates the relationships between multiple grid-points within the virtual region and the points within a plane including the display region and corresponding to the multiple grid-points; and displaying the display image in the display region. This configuration enables the user to intuitively perceive the position of an object that is located outside the display region.
