Abstract:
This information generation device 2, which generates control information for controlling a reading device 1 having a reading unit that reads tag information stored in an RF tag T, comprises: a state information acquisition unit 241 that acquires state information related to at least one among the state of the reading device 1 and the surrounding state of the reading device 1; and a control information generation unit 242 that generates control information for determining a ratio between a scan period during which the reading unit is operated in a scan mode and a standby period during which the reading unit is operated in a standby mode on the basis of the state information acquired by the state information acquisition unit 241, when the reading unit of the reading device 1 is operated by alternately switching between the scan mode in which radio waves are emitted to read tag information from the RF tag T and the standby mode in which the radio waves are not emitted.
