Abstract:

By performing copying or backup of value information electronically stored in a memory area, it is possible to smoothly perform movement of value information between terminals. An archive file containing a terminal ID of a movement destination is created from data in an IC card and stored in a predetermined storage place so as to safely perform backup of value information. Moreover, the archive file can be spread only by a device specified by the terminal ID. Moreover, access to a file and a directory in the IC card is managed by a counter. After the archive file is archived in the storage place, the counter value of the original file is erased.
