Abstract:
This information output device comprises: an event detecting unit (10) that detects an event that occurs inside or outside a vehicle; a member identifying unit (20) that identifies, as a first member, a person capable of perceiving the event; and an event storage unit (30) that stores event data pertaining to the detected event in association with the first member. The information output device comprises a data output unit (50) that automatically outputs the event data stored in the event storage unit (30), wherein the member identifying unit (20) identifies, as a second member, a person capable of viewing the event data output by the data output unit (50). The information output device further comprises an output control unit (40) that determines whether or not a person other than the first member is included as the second member, and that prohibits, when it is determined that a person other than the first member is included as the second member, the data output unit (50) from automatically outputting the event data.
