Title:
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING NUMBER OF TERMINALS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/133680
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information processing device and a method for estimating the number of terminals, by which the number of mobile terminals each having, as an address attribute, a region adjacent to a region to be analyzed can be accurately counted in consideration of a suction phenomenon. A number-of-terminals counting unit (102) counts the numbers of pieces of positional information (p(t), p(t0)), and counts the numbers of pieces of positional information (q(t), q(t0)). A suction coefficient calculation unit (103) calculates a suction coefficient (k) on the basis of the numbers of pieces of positional information (p(t0), q(t0)). A number-of-sucked-terminals calculation unit (104) calculates the number of sucked terminals (q'(t)) on the basis of the counted number of pieces of positional information (p(t)) at an analysis time (t) and the calculated suction coefficient (k), and subtracts the number of sucked terminals (q'(t)) from the number of pieces of positional information (p(t)) to thereby calculate the estimated number of mobile terminals.
