Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device that efficiently creates an environment map of a low dimension on the basis of sensor data of a high dimension. This information processing device comprises: an object construction unit that clusters sensor data comprising a high-dimensional point group to construct a high-dimensional object for each cluster; a projection unit that performs a low-dimensional projection of the high-dimensional objects; and a map construction unit that constructs a map on the basis of the low-dimensionally projected objects. The object construction unit constructs a high-dimensional object having a size, a shape, and a posture based on geometric information extracted from a collection of sensor data included in a cluster.
