Abstract:
In order to support the input of settings when performing setting relating to a location wherein a notification having pre-set contents should be sent to a communication terminal, in the disclosed information providing system that is one embodiment of the present disclosures, when the communication terminal transmits request information that requests a setting input screen, character information included in the request information is recognized in an information processing device, and location information corresponding to character information that is similar to the recognized character information is identified by referencing history information. The location information identified in the information processing device is received by the communication terminal, and this information is reflected in a setting input screen that is displayed in the communication terminal. As a result, in the case of setting—in the communication terminal—the location for which the acquisition of notification information is desired, a location corresponding to past history is displayed at the setting input screen, the user ceases to need to perform input identifying locations that tend to be complicated, and it is possible to reduce effort.
