Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, information processing method, program, and vehicle, with which it is possible to detect information relating to another vehicle which travels in the vicinity of a host vehicle as well as information relating to another person who is the driver of the another vehicle, and to forecast the occurrence of an automobile traffic accident. An information processing device which is a first aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a sensing unit which senses the environment in the vicinity; a receiving unit which receives information for preventing an accident in relation to a prescribed area based on the present location; and a control unit which, on the basis of the information for preventing the accident which is received from the receiving unit and the performance of the sensing unit, changes a parameter for the sensing unit to sense the environment in the vicinity. As an example, the present disclosure can be applied to a car navigation system.
