Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to accurately assess whether content has been carefully read without requiring that the terminal for viewing the content have a special configuration or high-level processing capability. Provided is an information processing device comprising: a reading time acquisition unit which acquires a reading time which is a time required for a user to read content; a reading pace calculation unit which, on the basis of the reading time, calculates a reading pace of the user; a reference time setting unit which, on the basis of the reading pace and a character count of subject content, sets a reference time pertaining to the reading time of the subject content; and a careful reading assessment unit which assesses whether the user has carefully read the subject content on the basis of the result of a comparison of the reading time acquired for the subject content and the reference time set for the subject content.
