Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information processing device, an information processing method, a program, and a head-mounted display that enable an image to be displayed properly even when the orientation of a display device changes quickly. This information processing device (1) is for controlling a display unit (13) configured to be capable of displaying, by a sequential scanning method, an image in an image displayable area being preset in space, and is provided with a setting unit (11) and a determination unit (12). The setting unit sets the displayable area so as to remain in a given position in the space. The determination unit acquires information regarding the attitude of the display unit, calculates the direction of movement, as viewed from the display unit, of the displayable area associated with a change in attitude of the display unit, and determines the main scan direction of the display unit so as to be opposite to said movement direction.
