Abstract:
[Problem] To cause an autonomous mobile body to execute a motion for further improving the accuracy of speech recognition. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device equipped with a motion control unit for controlling the motion of an autonomous mobile body so as to act on the basis of a recognition process, wherein when a target sound, which is sound to be subjected to a speech recognition process, has been detected, the motion control unit causes the autonomous mobile body to move to a position where the input level of a non-target sound, being a sound other than the subject sound, becomes lower, at the periphery of an approaching object determined on the basis of the target sound. Also provided is an information processing method comprising a step performed by a processor, the step being controlling the motion of an autonomous mobile body so as to act on the basis of a recognition process. The controlling further comprises, when a target sound, which is sound to be subjected to a speech recognition process, has been detected, moving the autonomous mobile body to a position where the input level of a non-target sound, being a sound other than the subject sound, becomes lower, at the periphery of an approaching object determined on the basis of the target sound.
