Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program with which it is possible to perform practice swing detection on the basis of sensor data of a motion sensor. [Solution] The present invention provides an information processing device comprising a control unit that, on the basis of sensor data sensed by a motion sensor provided to an object, performs a process of detecting that a practice swing has been performed in the object. The object includes a gripped part, the sensor data includes angular velocity of the object in a Y-axis direction, where a straight line parallel to the axis of the gripped part is an X-axis and an axis orthogonal to the X-axis is the Y-axis, and the control unit detects that the practice swing has been performed when the angular velocity of the object in the Y-axis direction changes from positive to negative.
