Abstract:
In order to achieve the purpose, an information processing device according to an embodiment of the present technology comprises an acquisition unit and a region control unit. The acquisition unit acquires map information in which distance information is associated with position information in a target area. The region control unit controls a distance-measured region with respect to the target area of a distance measuring sensor, on the basis of the map information. This allows for efficient operation of the distance measuring sensor.
