Abstract:

The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program with which it is possible, when detecting a feature point from a captured image and estimating one's own position and attitude, for example, to perform appropriate detection of the feature point by controlling exposure appropriately. The position and attitude of a capturing unit or a moving object that moves integrally with the capturing unit are estimated on the basis of a feature point of a captured image captured by the capturing unit, and the brightness of the captured image is controlled so that an image region of the ground included in the captured image has an appropriate exposure.
