Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program which make passengers who ride in different vehicles be able to easily communicate with each other. The present invention comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires a situation of an own vehicle and a situation of another vehicle; a setting unit which sets a position, at which a sound image of the passenger who rides in the other vehicle is localized, in the own vehicle on the basis of the situation of the own vehicle and the situation of the other vehicle; and a sound image localization processing unit which localizes the sound image of the passenger at the position set in the setting unit. The acquisition unit acquires at least a seat position on which the passenger is being seated, and the setting unit sets a vacant seat of the own vehicle as the position at which the sound image of the passenger of the other vehicle is localized. The present technology can be applied to an information processing device which controls telepresence.
