Abstract:
An information processing device according to one aspect comprises a tag generation unit that uses a tag generation function MAC1K (where K is a key) for a message authentication code, which is secure against a white-box attack, so as to generate a tag T=MAC1K(X) for verifying the authenticity of data X, wherein the tag generation function MAC1K is configured using: an encryption function EK for a block cipher that is secure against a white-box attack and has an input/output length of n bits; a prescribed hash function H that has an output length of m≥2n bits; and prescribed functions f1,f2:{0,1}m→{0,1}n and f3:{0,1}n×{0,1}n→{0,1}n.
