Abstract:
An information processing device according to the present technology comprises a selection processing unit that performs the selection of data to be used in free-viewpoint image generation in accordance with the importance of at least one of an event and a viewpoint, where a plurality of captured image data, which is obtained by capturing images of an event from a plurality of viewpoints, and processing data, which is obtained by executing on the captured image data a process relating to three-dimensional information generation of at least a subject, serve as selection target data.
