Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to enable a satisfactory own-position calculation to be performed based on landmarks. The information processing device is provided with an information holding unit for holding information relating to landmarks serving as indicators for the own-position calculation. An information generating unit generates accompanying information corresponding to landmark types on the basis of the information relating to the landmarks held in the information holding unit. A display unit displays the landmarks on a map on the basis of the information relating to the landmarks held in the information holding unit, and displays the accompanying information in association with each landmark. A user can effectively set or change a route of a moving body such as a robot, or arrangement positions of the landmarks, with reference to the display of the accompanying information, making it simple for the own-position calculation employing the information relating to the landmarks to be performed satisfactorily.
