Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to provide an information processing device, information processing method and recording medium, with which it is possible to improve the security of peripheral devices connected to a support base, in a configuration in which portable information devices can be attached to and detached from the support base. The information processing device comprises a mobile information device and a support base which detachably supports the mobile information device, the support base having peripheral devices connected thereto, an authentication unit for performing authentication between the mobile information device and the support base when the mobile information device is mounted to the support base, and a device control unit which sets the peripheral device to an operating state if authentication is successful.
