Abstract:
This information processing device is provided with: an acquisition unit that acquires positional information, line-of-sight detection information, and speech information of a first user, and positional information of a second user; a determination unit that, on the basis of the positional information of the first user and the positional information of the second user, determines a positional relationship between the first user and the second user; a specification unit that, on the basis of the determined positional relationship, specifies a speech dialog area where a speech dialog between the first user and the second user may be performed; and an avatar control unit that sets the position of an avatar on the outside of the specified speech dialog area. When the speech information of the first user is acquired while the first user is viewing the outside of the speech dialog area, the avatar control unit causes an avatar to execute a predetermined action, and when the speech information of the first user is acquired while the first user is viewing the inside of the speech dialog area, the avatar control unit prevents the avatar from executing the predetermined action.
