Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and method which make it possible to suppress a decrease in coding efficiency. Voxel data obtained by quantizing point cloud data are coded using the correlation of a distribution pattern of the values of the voxel data to generate correlation information. The generated correlation information is coded, and a bit stream including the correlation information is generated. The present disclosure may be applied, for example, in an information processing device, an image processing device, an electronic apparatus, an information processing method, or a program.
