Abstract:
An information processing device (1) according to the present disclosure has a haze removing unit (6). The haze removing unit (6) removes, on the basis of the water depth, haze from an input image that was captured underwater. The information processing device (1) has an ambient light estimating unit (2) that estimates ambient light present underwater, and a wavelength-based transmittance estimating unit (4) that estimates the transmittance of each light wavelength corresponding to the water depth. The haze removing unit (6) removes haze from the input image on the basis of the input image, the ambient light, and the transmittance of each light wavelength corresponding to the water depth.
