Abstract:
A monitoring ECU (18) comprises: a reception unit (36) that receives abnormality detection information from a specific instrument among a plurality of instruments connected to a CAN bus (6), said abnormality detection information indicating that an abnormality was detected in the specific device; an identification unit (38) that identifies the location of occurrence of the abnormality on the basis of the abnormality detection information received by the reception unit (36); and a determination unit (40) whereby an attack route indicating the route by which an attack that is the cause of the abnormality passed through one or more of the instruments among the plurality of instruments and the severity of the abnormality are determined on the basis of the abnormality detection information and the location of occurrence of the abnormality, and the progress of the attack is determined on the basis of the determined attack route and the severity.
