Abstract:
This technology relates to an information processing device, an own-position estimating method, a program, and a mobile body with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of own-position estimation of a mobile body.
This information processing device is provided with: a comparing unit which compares a plurality of captured images, which are images captured in a prescribed direction at different locations, and a reference image captured in advance; and an own-position estimating unit which performs own-position estimation of the mobile body on the basis of the result of the comparisons between each of the plurality of captured images and the reference image. This technology can be applied to systems which perform own-position estimation of a mobile body, for example.
