Abstract:
Provided are an information processing device, etc., with which it is possible, when a customer performs a payment process in which a biological image is used, to shorten the time required for the payment process. An information processing device 30 is provided with an authentication unit 31 and a payment unit 32. The authentication unit 31 receives the result of biometric authentication based on a customer image that has been captured before the completion of registration of one or more commodities. When biometric authentication is successful in said result, the payment unit 32 requests payment for the one or more commodities using the payment information of the customer after the completion of commodity registration.
