Abstract:
The aim of the present invention is to facilitate efficient use of a semiconductor storage device. In order to achieve this aim, provided are: a segmentation processing unit 21 which segments character string data subject to compression into a plurality of partial regions; a compression processing unit 22 which compresses region data contained in each of the plurality of partial regions to an access unit size or less to generate compressed partial data; and a storage processing unit 22 which allows storage of the generated compressed partial data in an access unit region in a semiconductor storage device 14.
