Abstract:
Provided is a technology capable of effectively reducing communication load in the transmission of image data. Provided is an information processing device equipped with a control unit which: performs control for transmitting image data obtained by rendering a virtual space to a display device; acquires, as the image data, first image data that is image data of a region including all of a user's field of view in the virtual space, and second data that is image data of a gaze region within the user's field of view, has a higher resolution than that of the first data, and is synthesized with the first image data in the display device; acquires information relating to a communication bandwidth in communication with the display device; and adjusts the data amount of the image data to be transmitted to the display device according to the communication bandwidth.
