Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel and improved technology to enable stable and accurate detection of a subject including a transparent object. [Solution] A program for causing a computer to function as: an acquisition unit that acquires, as a return light reaching time, a time difference between a time point when light is emitted from a light emitting unit and a time point when the emitted light reflected by a subject including a transparent object is detected by a light receiving unit; a generation unit that generates a histogram representing the relationship between light detection frequency in the light receiving unit and the return light reaching time on the basis of the return light reaching time; and a distance output unit that determines a plurality of return light reaching times from the histogram and outputs a plurality of pieces of distance information corresponding to the plurality of return light reaching times determined.
