In an individual information read system (1), individual information, period information defining the valid period of the individual information, a password, and a terminal identifier unique to a read terminal (20) allowing read are correlated with one another and converted into a bar code by a bar code information output unit (106) of an information processing device (10). The bar code is printed on a paper medium (M). Moreover, a read terminal (20) displays only individual information whose output is allowed by an output control unit (204) on a display unit (205). Thus, in addition to encryption, a valid period is set when individual information is converted into a bar code. This enhances the security level of the individual information and surely prevents a leak of the individual information to a third person.
