Abstract:
This information processing device has: a storage unit for storing the IP address of a router connecting a first network and a second network from the first network, and in associated form therewith, identifying information for each of first devices connected to the second network; and a transmission unit that, in response to an operation request from one of first devices, transmits, via the first network, a packet containing identifying information, doing so to the IP address of the router that has been stored in the storage unit in association with the identifying information of the first device in question. On the second network, the predetermined packet is used to transmit a magic packet containing the MAC address that corresponds to the identifying information contained in the predetermined packet in question.
