Abstract:
The present invention provides a device and a method which generate and display a user-posture-reflecting three-dimensional avatar image with little lag with respect to user movement. A user terminal receives input of a detection value from a movement sensor worn on a user's body, estimates a user posture, selects a sensor detection value for a part that is moving fast, and transmits the same to a server. The server uses the user posture and the sensor detection value to generate a user-posture-reflecting three-dimensional avatar image, and transmits the same to the user terminal. The user terminal outputs the received user-posture-reflecting three-dimensional avatar image to a display unit. The server performs image correction in which a user part position that is estimated on the basis of a newer sensor detection value is reflected in the avatar image based on the user posture, and generates a user-posture-reflecting three-dimensional avatar image.
