This information processing device comprises: a storage device for storing apparatus information, an apparatus characteristics table, and an energy-saving control menu; an input device to which energy-saving control and conditions for a calculation target are input and which acquires operation data and measurement data from a control device of an apparatus; a computation device; and an output device for outputting a calculated energy-saving effect. The computation device comprises: an actual-load-factor calculation unit for determining an actual load factor on the basis of the operation data and measurement data; a parameter estimation unit for determining a control characteristics correction parameter related to apparatus control characteristics; a load factor estimation unit for estimating load factor distribution during an estimation period from the actual load factor; a power consumption estimation unit for correcting control characteristics on the basis of the control characteristics correction parameter and using the load factor distribution and corrected control characteristics to calculate power consumption for the apparatus for both when the power-saving control is performed and when the power-saving control is not performed; and an effect calculation unit for calculating an energy-saving effect from the calculation results.
