Abstract:
Disclosed are an encoding method and device, a communication apparatus, and a communication system. The method comprises using a low-density parity-check (LDPC) matrix to encode an information bit sequence. A base graph for the LDPC matrix presents a matrix having m rows and n columns, where m is an integer greater than or equal to 5, and n is an integer greater than or equal to 16. The base graph comprises a sub-matrix A and a sub-matrix B. The sub-matrix A is a matrix A0. Alternatively, the sub-matrix A comprises first 16 columns of the matrix A0. The matrix A0 is a matrix having 5 rows and 22 columns. The sub-matrix B is a matrix having 5 rows and 5 columns. The sub-matrix B comprises a column having a weight of 3 and a sub-matrix B' having a dual-diagonal structure. The encoding method and device, the communication apparatus, and the communication system of the present invention meet the need for encoding information bit sequences having various lengths.
