Abstract:
A drive recorder (1): acquires video data from a camera that captures the surroundings of a vehicle; acquires sensor data that includes at least one of the acceleration, the speed, and the angular velocity of the vehicle; adds time information indicating an acquired time of day to each of the video data and the sensor data; and transmits the sensor data to a data analysis server (2) when an event occurs with respect to the vehicle. The data analysis server (2) identifies the content of the event that has occurred with respect to the vehicle on the basis of the sensor data, and transmits the identification result to the drive recorder (1). The drive recorder (1): determines whether the identified event indicated by the identification result is a prescribed event; and, when it is determined that the identified event is a prescribed event, specifies video data to which is assigned the same time information as the time information added to the sensor data used for identification, and transmits the specified video data to a video storage server (3).
