Abstract:
This information processing method comprises: acquiring movement information concerning the movements of two or more mobile bodies that are capable of autonomous movement and can be at least one of remotely operated and remotely monitored (S11); predicting, from among the two or more mobile bodies and on the basis of the movement information and position information regarding a first region where at least one of remote operation and remote monitoring is required, a first mobile body that has a movement path scheduled to pass through the first region and that will enter the first region (S12); identifying, on the basis of the movement information and the position information, a second mobile body that is different from the first mobile body and that has a movement path scheduled to pass through the first region (S13); determining whether the second mobile body will catch up to the first mobile body by the time the first mobile body enters the first region (S14); and outputting, if it is determined that the second mobile body will catch up to the first mobile body, instruction information to the second mobile body for performing a following control to move while following the first mobile body (S15).
