Provided is an information processing method which allows efficient utilization of various information collected from a machine tool. The information processing method comprises a step (S10) for communicating with a plurality of machine tools. The plurality of machine tools each include a sensor for detecting, as detection information, information about the corresponding machine tool. The step (S10) for communicating comprises a step for receiving, as collected data from each of the plurality of machine tools, component information about a component of the machine tool and the detection information detected by the sensor. The information processing method further comprises steps (S20A, S20B) for storing, in a storage unit, the collected data received from the plurality of machine tools, and a step (S32) for learning correlations between the component information about the machine tools and the detection information detected by the sensors of the machine tools on the basis of a plurality of the collected data sets stored in the storage unit.
