This information processing program is used in a training game and causes a computer to execute: a process for enabling a player to select a training completion game medium associated with prescribed inheritance information; a process for running the training game, including at least a process for updating one or a plurality of parameters associated with a character being trained and a process that is based on the training completion game medium selected by the player; and a process for generating and storing, on the basis of the completion of the training game, the training completion game medium in which the parameters and the inheritance information are associated with the character being trained. The inheritance information includes specific inheritance information that increases upper-limit values of the parameters. The process for running the training game involves increasing the upper-limit values of the prescribed parameters when the specific inheritance information is associated with the training completion game medium selected by the player.
