Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an information processing system, an actuation method for the information processing system, and a program that enable easy correction of a failure caused in a virtual viewpoint image (free viewpoint image, volumetric image). The present disclosure comprises: generating a virtual viewpoint image through synthesis on the basis of a color synthesis weight set to each of multi-viewpoint images; accepting an input of a failure region in a virtual viewpoint image; accepting a correction input for the color synthesis weight of the failure region of each of the multi-viewpoint images used for the synthesis, to correct the color synthesis weight to a plurality of color synthesis weights having the correction input as a criterion; resynthesizing the plurality of virtual viewpoint images as a correction candidate image on the basis of the plurality of color synthesis weights; and determining the color synthesis weight having been applied to the correction candidate image considered to have the failure corrected and selected from a plurality of the correction candidate images, as correction information for correcting the failure. The present disclosure can be applied to a volumetric image generation device.
