Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing system, an information processing device and method, an accommodation case, an information processing method, and a program with which it is possible to recognize a tapping operation in a short time and with high accuracy. This information processing device is worn on one ear of a user and comprises: a sensor that performs a measurement relating to a vibration; a communication unit that transmits a vibration intensity value obtained from an output of the sensor to another information processing device worn on the other ear of the user, and receives an intensity value detected by the other information processing device from the other information processing device; and a control unit that detects a tapping operation on the basis of the intensity value obtained from the output of the sensor and the intensity value received from the other information processing device. The present technology can be applied to headphones.
