Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing system, an information processing method, and a program which make it possible to make a vehicle dispatch request with excellent convenience from a terminal device of a passenger when the passenger is to board a vehicle such as a taxi that is cruising or that is at a stop to wait for a passenger. The present invention comprises: a plurality of vehicles; vehicle dispatch management devices that manage vehicle dispatch of the vehicles; a first terminal that sets, as vehicle dispatch request information, the content of a vehicle dispatch request; and second terminals which are provided in the vehicles, wherein identification information for identifying the vehicles provided with the second terminals is acquired, and vehicle dispatch of the vehicles identified by the identification information is managed on the basis of the vehicle dispatch request information acquired from the first terminal.
